Alzheimer's Research UK, GB - Dementia consortium
Alzheimer's Research UK and the Dementia Consortium invite applications for project funding. This provides funding, resources and expertise to increase the number of new drug targets emerging from across the academic sector that benefit patients.
Investigators based at established research institutions worldwide may apply. The lead applicant is expected to have a fixed-term or tenure contract that covers the proposed duration of the grant. If the lead applicant does not hold a tenure appointment, the application must include a co-applicant who does. Academic researchers and SMEs based anywhere in the world may apply as collaborators.
Grants are worth between £100,000 to £250,000 each over two years; however, a maximum of £500,000 may be awarded in exceptional cases.
There are regular deadlines for Expressions of Interest.
